What's Palfish?
PalFish is an online learning platform geared towards Chinese students aged 5-12. Your job will be to provide a fun and engaging class with the students. Most of your time will be spent reading through interactive slides and playing animated English games in 25 minute lessons.

Why Palfish?
Due to China's rapidly growing middle class, the demand for native English teachers is skyrocketing. Palfish's online learning platform currently has over 500,000 paying students as of March 2020, and the supply of teachers is too low to keep up with the platform's growth. Native speakers are highly sought-after in English learning circles.
Why Teach English?
As a native English speaker, you are uniquely qualified to teach foreign students, especially children, to speak with a clear native accent that is highly desired by Chinese learners. You'll find teaching to be fun, too - the 25 minute lessons are easily digestible, contain no difficult grammar. The lesson slides are sprinkled with songs, games, animations, and fun activities to keep the kids occupied (and you!).
What Qualifications Do I Need?
While you do not need a college/university degree, you must be a native speaker with a TEFL or TESOL certificate (this is a recent requirement due to new government regulations). Fortunately, TEFL/TESOL certifications can be done entirely online in a few hours.
You will also need a phone or tablet to teach on, a stable internet connection, and a teaching background. A few puppets or toys couldn't hurt, either!
You must be a native speaker from North America, the UK, Australia, Ireland, or NZ.
